Michael Anyimah, CFA (Executive Director)

Michael Anyimah is an experienced FX Trader and Derivative sales and trading expert. With a flair for excellence, he earned his MBA from the University of Lagos and also earned the much-respected finance designation from the CFA Institute, the CFA Charter.

Michael has worked as an FX Trader with Citi Bank where he was the desk head and principal of inter-bank foreign exchange and a G7 currencies trader. He worked with the sales team to develop foreign exchange risk hedges for clients. He was also responsible for the active foreign currency balance sheet management.

Moving on in his career and excellence trail, Michael became the Head, FX Trading and Derivative Sales & Trading at Zenith Bank Plc where he managed the FX Trading Unit which traded (proprietary and flows) the G7 currencies and the local currency against the G7 currencies. He later became Vice President at Zenith Bank Plc.

Until recently, He was head of Fx Trading and Derivative Sales Trading at First Bank Group.

Dr. Julius Omodayo-Owotuga, FCA, CFA (Non-Executive Director)

Dr. Julius B. (JB) Omodayo-Owotuga is a seasoned executive with extensive experience across oil and gas, banking, financial services, audit, and consulting. He currently serves as Group Executive Director & Deputy CEO of Geregu Power Plc, a subsidiary of Amperion Power, where he oversees finance, risk, treasury, IT, and administration—a role he has held since 2019.

Previously, JB was Group Executive Director, Finance and Risk Management at Forte Oil Plc (now Ardova Plc), where he led the company's transformation into a multi-million-dollar enterprise and oversaw major financial initiatives. He also held key roles at Africa Finance Corporation, including Asset and Liability Management Specialist and Finance Manager. Earlier in his career, he worked with Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria, KPMG Professional Services, and MBC International Bank.

JB sits on the board of FBN Holdings and several other organizations in Nigeria and abroad.

He holds degrees from the University of Lagos, Geneva Business School, IE Business School, and the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School. A CFA CharterHolder, he is also a Chartered Management Accountant and Fellow of multiple professional institutes, including ICAN, CITN, and the Institute of Credit Administration. He is additionally a member of the Institute of Directors Nigeria.
